A few photos from the trip out west:

1. Desert drive to Conejos, CO, from Albuquerque, NM;
2. Alpine meadow above Conejos Falls; and
3. My husband and brother, super psyched about a cutthroat trout J caught in a rather daunting canyon the three of us spent an entire day scrambling.

I’m also hoping to share a few pictures from the horseback ride a few of us took along, and over, the Continental Divide. I didn’t bring my own camera, as I’m a little horse shy and didn’t think additional distractions would help that situation. However, two of my fellow riders brought cameras, and I can’t wait to see their shots—the views we encountered on that ride were among the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
